Tribal Home Visiting
GP TMIECHV program’s vision is to support and engage parents, caregivers, and community members to empower family resilience by strengthening Dakota culture and kinship and other protective factors for lifelong health and wellness.

Goals

  1. Supporting American Indian children and families through enhanced home visiting
  2. Implement a high-quality, culturally-relevant and evidence-based home visiting model
  3. Expand evidence-base around home visiting interventions in American Indian communities
  4. Support and strengthen cooperation and coordination and promoting linkages for coordinated, comprehensive early childhood systems.
